Overview
We take great care to prepare and package your books so they arrive ready to be read, gifted, and cherished. Below you’ll find how we process, ship, and track orders. If anything’s unclear, we’re a quick email away: support@featherandember.com.
Order Processing (Handling)

Handling time: Up to 5 business days from the time your order is placed.

During launches, holidays, or special promotions, handling may land on the longer side of that window (we’ll hustle, promise).
Shipping Methods & Timelines
United States

USPS Media Mail: Typically 5–10 business days in transit, sometimes longer depending on distance, weather, or carrier volume.

Tracking is provided when your order ships.
International (We Ship Worldwide)

International orders are shipped via an economy tracked service comparable to Media Mail timeframes.

Delivery times vary by country and customs—2–4+ weeks is common.

Any customs duties, VAT, or import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included at checkout.
A friendly note: Once your package leaves our studio, it’s in the hands of the carrier. From that point onward, we have access to the same tracking information you do.
Tracking

You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your order departs our studio.

Tracking events may take 24–48 hours to update after the label is created.
Multiple Addresses

We do not ship to multiple addresses within a single order.

The simplest approach: place separate orders for each destination. (It keeps everything tidy and ensures accurate tracking for each package.)
Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We aren’t able to reroute packages once shipped, and replacements for misaddressed orders may require a new order.
Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Packages

Once an order has left our hands, responsibility transfers to the carrier. We are not liable for delays, loss, theft, or damage in transit.

If your shipment is delayed or shows as delivered but you can’t locate it, please:

Check with household members, building staff, or neighbors.

Contact your local post office or carrier with the tracking number.

If damage occurred, file a claim with the carrier and take photos of the packaging and contents.
